Thursday 26 March: Credit Crunch time!
Good value wines as chosen by one of our favourite speakers Andrew Higgs from Richards Walford. Same format as usual, six wines and six foods. Arriving at 7:30 for a start about 7:45, expected finsh time approx 10:30, 6 wines and 6 foods; tickets £18.50, and get 10% off the cost of any wine purchased on the night.

New Products

Warm Dips

From Canada, the idea of warm dips, as opposed to cold dips! Produced by a company called 'Wildly Delicious' they reckon that traditional cold dips cannot match the rich complexity of flavour that is released through warming. All the warm dips have a white bean or chickpea base with no fatty mayonnaise, starches or extenders. Great flavours and a hint of fibre in every bite. 240g jars; £5 each.

• Spinach & artichoke warm dip with mozzarella
• Moroccan with green chilli & fire roasted tomato - Eastern Mediterranean flavours unite chickpeas with fire roasted tomatoes, chillies and a hint of cumin
• Butternut squash & white bean with brown sugar - golden in appearance and creamy in texture. The brown sugar provides a delicate caramel note and a hint of curry plays subtle complexity to the mellow butternut squash
• Creamy French onion with goats cheese
• Caramelized red onion with balsamic warm dip
