Food & Wine Evenings

Some still seats available for both of the January evenings.

• This Friday, over in Mod31, we are concentrating on red wine which is a little different for us.
• Then next Thursday we have a mix of wines to spoil you with as, as the title implies, to clear the shelves I need to use what we have left in stock which does seem to include some lovely wines from Italy, Portugal, Spain and Chile so should be a delightful evening!

Usual format

• 6 wines/sherries and 6 foods
• 10% off all wines sampled on the evening and purchased within the following 10 days or while stocks last. All wines sampled and accompanying foods will be listed on our web-site following the event
• Places must be booked and paid for in advance to avoid disappointment and to assist in planning
• Maximum no. of attendees - 26

New Stock

Finally some of our orders are coming through and one of the most exciting updates is that Simple Suppers are now delivering regularly. Their main products are pies and judging by the response we have had to these this week these are proving to be popular enough to keep on as a main stock item. This week we have tried their game pie, beef, guiness and ale pie, Cotswold pie (pork, bacon and leek), and pork pie along with their sausage rolls and pasties. We will stock many as regular items and take orders for others so come in and see what we have!
