New Year, New Beginnings!

This is what we hope to be the first of Added Ingredients newsletters in 2009. All who receive this hopefully have shown interest in receiving news of our food and wine evenings or general updates in the past and will hopefully accept these in the future. We couldn't let the new year progress too far without giving thought to our wine and food tastings for the year. While awaiting responses from some speakers, I thought we'd hold a rather informal event to cheer us up in January, and therefore I invite you to come along and...

Help drink some wines to make space for new stock!

No particular theme but all good wines and food to accompany. Same format as usual, six wines with six foods; arrive at half past seven so as to start hopefully at 7:45. Same price as last year £18.50 per person.

Stock Clearance

With stock take just being completed and new stock on its way we also need to have a clearance of items of stock and therefore have a small selection of reduced items on sale.

• white serving dishes and plates - now discontinued: reduced by twenty five percent

Lunch-time curries!

Following our brief introduction of this idea prior to Christmas we have a new range of prepared curries on offer for easy dining. From the Dil Raj Restaurant here in Abingdon and ready to be popped into the microwave for a few minutes we have vegetarian options, medium spice, at £3.75 and chicken and lamb at £4.25 - birianis and curries, all hot spiced, with rice and veg. Each container is a reasonable one person meal size.
